Nice to meet you!

I’m Lucy. I live in Warwickshire and have worked in marketing, PR and communications for more than 15 years.
I’m passionate about making communication inclusive, accurate, fun and, above all, effective.
I’m a skilled writer. I’ve got extensive experience in the adult social care and cybersecurity sectors, but I’ve also written about everything from dating to dentistry to dishwashers. There’s always a story to tell!
I love fountain pens, have more books than I’ll ever be able to read, and in 2009 I thought it was a wise choice to do a postgraduate degree in journalism. (Spoiler: it wasn’t, I did it anyway, and journalism as we knew it pretty much died soon after.)
Prior to that, I did a degree in English Language at the University of Manchester. I can spot a mistake in text a mile off, and I’ve been the go-to proofreading colleague, friend or relative for at least 20 years.
If and when we meet, I’ll bore you with stories of my rabbits (their names are Oscar and Josephine), and then do the best damn job you’ve ever seen.
I can’t wait to help tell your story.
